Who Are You Helping with Dan Fradenburgh
Helping Others Through Real Estate and Technology: A Conversation with Marisa Amirian
I meet a lot of interesting people who I want to help. The best way for me to give back is by quickly sharing who they’re helping professionally and who they wish they could help more—whether privately or philanthropically. I keep these interviews short and sweet, so people in my circle can pick and choose who to help, whether through their business or charitable contributions.
Don’t forget to subscribe or follow me on YouTube and TikTok, so they start paying me to do more content like this. Let’s get started!
Dan Fredenberg: Hey, how’s it going? I’m Dan Fredenberg, and this is “Who Are You Helping?” I’m a commercial real estate guy and have interviewed over 350 different deal sponsors. Sometimes someone appears in my circle, and I want to know more about whether they fit into my business or if there’s a way of collaborating. I also share that with you so you have a chance to find out who my guest is helping.
Today, I’m joined by Marisa Amirian. How are you doing today, Marisa?
Marisa Amirian: I’m great! How are you, Dan?
Dan: I’m fantastic, especially since my favorite member of the audience is here! So, Marisa, do you want to say a few words about yourself?
Marisa: My name is Marisa Amirian. I’m a techie and, in a way, a failed real estate investor who now helps capital-raising real estate investors with their technology solutions.
Dan: Failed? You haven’t failed until you quit!
Marisa: You’re right! My mind is always on technology. I started helping friends build their CRM, automations, and tech solutions for capital raising and tracking leads and investors. I turned it into a business, and that’s all I want to do now.
Dan: You’ve already covered part of my first question, but let me ask it more directly—who do you help professionally?
Marisa: I help hungry real estate investors who are focused on finding deals and don’t want to worry about their CRM setup. My goal is to ensure they’re successful. I’m building a business, and I want to grow with my clients. We aim to be technology partners, helping them integrate data and make informed decisions while taking the tech burden off them. Real estate investors should be out finding deals and building relationships, not worrying about tech.
Dan: That’s a great answer. If you’re going to be big in real estate, there’s a huge networking element to it, and tech people generally aren’t fans of networking. So it’s good to keep people in their lanes.
For my next question: Who do you wish you could help more, but for some reason, you can’t? This could be professionally or otherwise.
Marisa: In my heart of hearts, I want to help young women in technology or real estate. I think more women need voices in these spaces. I’m often a minority in my tech world, and that’s who I want to help. I’m always excited to see women doing the work in real estate and building up their presence.
Dan: I love that. Now, let’s imagine you’ve found a magic lamp or you’re sitting on Santa’s lap—how can people in the audience help you?
Marisa: Spread the word about CapBloom. A lot of my clients help spread the word because they like what we do. I just want to help people relieve the burden of technology. If anyone needs that kind of help, send them my way.
Dan: How can people reach out to you? Is LinkedIn the best way, or is there a website?
Marisa: LinkedIn is great. Our website, capbloom.com, is another good way. All our info and demo scheduling are on there. I love chatting with people to find out what’s happening in the world of real estate and what will help them move forward.
Dan: Fantastic! And one last thing—did you know that if people in the audience hit that hideous subscribe button, it helps me out?
Marisa: I do now! Everyone, you need to subscribe to Dan!
Dan: Thanks, Marisa. And thanks to everyone for spending this time with us. If you’re interested in commercial real estate deals or building your network, reach out. Thanks a lot, and see you next time!
